Horlicks WizKids Pakistan 2010

Horlicks WizKids 2010 has set Pakistani schools ablaze with excitement and enthusiasm. School visits have started in full swing in the three metropolitan cities of Pakistan – Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. This challenging, innovative and thrilling Interschool Fiesta gives students a platform through which to partake, applaud, exhibit and hone their skills at an international forum such as the Horlicks WizKids.

The Horlicks WizKids competition will host 10 electrifying and unique contests for its participants at each of these three cities. The participants’ skills will be put to test in activities such as Quizzers, Painting, Mehndi Art, Creative Play, Music Melody, WizTeam, English Story Writing, Urdu Story Writing, Little Horlicks Chef, and Antakshari. These activities will then be judged by an elite panel comprising celebrities, industry professionals and corporate leaders. The winners of these city-wide competitions will get a chance to represent Pakistan in the South Asian final.

About WizKids

• South Asia’s largest and most exciting interschool Fiesta and it is coming to 3 major cities inPakistan.
• Strategic partners on board with the Horlicks Wizkids 2010 DAWN in Education.
• School based activity whereby the schools nominate students to represent them at the actualevent in 10 competitions all covering different facets of talent and knowledge.
• Over 75 schools in Karachi, 75 schools in Lahore, and 60 schools in Islamabad will be invited.
• The competition is being held at 3 levels namely, school, city and South Asia. Therefore, winners at the city level will be able to represent Pakistan in the South Asian final.
• Schools, students and teachers participating in this event have a chance to win various prizes including titles and a lucky draw.
• The main event will be held separately in all 3 cities. It will be held in Karachi on the 7th ofNovember and Lahore on the 2nd of November.

Promotional activities

• We have a school activation drive whereby top schools in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad arebeing visited and thus invited to register their students for the Wizkid 2010.
• Teachers from the schools are also being invited for a luncheon with Sidra Iqbal and the Horlicks WizKid team.
• The school activities are being covered by the media.
• There is a radio spot with the Horlicks jingle being aired from today in order to build up aroundthe Horlicks Wizkids activity.
• Floats , in the shape of a Horlicks bottle, is being circulated around the 3 cities and are presentat the schools which are being visited by the Horlicks team.
• There are billboards, the sites for which have been specified, put up across the three cities.
• Horlicks Wizkids is also present online on Facebook and Twitter where details of the events,updates on the schools, pictures of the various activities are being uploaded and queries being answered.
